A Slingbox is a magical device that you place lovingly alongside your television apparatus. It hooks up with your Internet connection and DVR, allowing you to access your DVR through your computer! Totally cool. All you have to do is have Internet access and bam, you're watching The Office in your hotel room, Heroes on your lunch break and The Real Housewives of Orange County (what? not me, guys!) at the airport.
There are three different versions of the Slingbox, ranging from the regular tuner to the Slingbox Pro. They say the Pro is "souped up", which I guess means the Pro uses steroids, drinks a daily protein shake, and lifts weights while singing "Hurts so Good".
Of course, it does come with a fairly hefty price tag. The cost is around $220, however it depends on the version and where you purchase it.
But that doesn't keep me from coveting it.
