Mindy Kaling

All I want is to be best friends with writer/producer/actor/smart girl Mindy Kaling. Great profile of her this week in the New York Times.

Fun fact: her now defunct blog Things I've Bought That I Love is the reason I started my (albeit miserable) foray into blogging.

Another fun fact: A quote from Kelly Kapoor, Mindy's character on The Office, is the inspiration for the title of my blog. In a list of her favorite things, Kelly cites "Beyonce, pink the color, pink the person, hot dogs, basically anything that is awesome, snow cones..."
